PS/MS 363 The Academy for Personal Leadership and Excellence

Hello and welcome to the 7th Grade House of Responsibility.  In the 7th grade we uphold the vision and mission of our school by supporting our students academically, socially and emotionally.  We teach our scholars to have a positive impact in their community through core values of respect, responsibility and leadership.  The vision starts in the 6th grade by highlighting respect, during the 7th grade we focus on responsibility, and in the 8th grade we focus on their leadership.

The 7th grade is an important grade.  High schools review students' 7th grade report cards and test scores as the basis for their admissions selections.  We encourage students to take responsibility for their learning and for their actions so they can attend the best high school possible.  A great start here can lead to better high school opportunities, which could lead to better college and career opportunities in the future.

We wish all of our students and their families a great year, and we look forward to working with you during the school year. We hope to see you at one of our many family events!
